ArcGIS is Evolving...9.3 Road Shows
On the 3rd, 5th and 10th March in London, Edinburgh and Manchester respectively, over 500 GIS and IT professionals attended the ArcGIS is Evolving... 9.3 Road Show to discuss the latest trends in GIS, discover new technology and expand their GIS skills and knowledge.
Delegates to the Road Show experienced introductory presentations on how GIS and ArcGIS is evolving. ESRI (UK)’s Technical Solutions Group presented ArcGIS in Action. Guest presenters on applications of GIS within their organisations included Major Adrian Friend of Royal School of Military Survey, Ken Field and James O’Brien of Kingston University, Stewart McCall of South Ayrshire Council and James Bamford of Microsoft.
The 9.3 Road Show included two streams of break out sessions. ESRI (UK)’s Technical Solutions Group presented on Making Better Maps, Data Management and Interoperability, Improved Visualisation and Analysis and Building Mash Up’s.
